Hello, I am Expert Clinical Psychologist Yasmin Nakkhal.

After completing my undergraduate education in psychology at Koç University, I graduated from Bahçeşehir University Clinical Psychology Master's Program. I continue my academic journey at Middle East Technical University (METU) Psychology Doctorate Program.

I did my master's thesis on the relationship between self-talk, emotion regulation and rumination during crisis periods. My interest in understanding how people think, feel, and cope in the face of challenging life experiences underpins both my academic work and clinical practice.

In my works; I support individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, stress, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship problems, self-confidence and self-esteem problems, life transitions and emotional difficulties. In addition, he works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families; I accompany my clients in relational and family processes.One of my special interests is birth psychology. I offer psychological support on pregnancy, birth preparation, postpartum adjustment period, postpartum depression and parent counseling.

During the therapy process, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, couple and family therapy approaches, person-centered therapy and mindfulness-based techniques. He believes that each client's needs and life story are unique; While I base the therapy process on scientific foundations, I also care about creating a safe, warm and non-judgmental space.

My goal is to support my clients to better understand the difficulties they experience, discover their inner resources, and establish a healthier balance in their lives.
