Hello, I am Expert Clinical Psychologist Şevval Erel.
After my undergraduate education at Istanbul Kültür University, Department of Psychology, I completed my master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the same university and received the title of Specialist Clinical Psychologist. I also completed my associate degree in Child Development. I prepared my master's degree project on "Attitudes Towards Parenting Skills of Alcohol and Substance Addicted Individuals".
Clinical Experience
During my education, I gained experience working with children, adolescents and adults by doing internships in school, nursery and hospital environments. In addition to my clinical observations in the field of psychiatry, I gained experience in addiction, psychopathology follow-up, motivational interview processes and multidisciplinary team work in the AMATEM unit.
My Working Areas
He works with adolescents and adults; I offer psychotherapy services especially on depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress symptoms, relationship problems, attachment problems, self-confidence, anger management, eating disorders and attention problems.
My Therapy ApproachesIn my therapy work, I use scientifically based approaches according to the needs of my clients and consider each individual's life story from a holistic perspective. He mainly adopts Schema Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy schools; When necessary, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR and Motivational Interviewing approaches.
In order to support my professional development, I received training in Schema Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Short-Term Solution Focused Therapy, Family Counseling, Play Therapy, Child Tests, MMPI and Rorschach Test.
Multidisciplinary Working Approach
When necessary, I support the client's evaluation, guidance and follow-up processes with a holistic approach, working in coordination with relevant health professionals with a multidisciplinary approach.

- Appointments made can be postponed to a different day or canceled within 24 hours until the appointment time.
- If there is less than 24 hours left until the appointment time, no appointment postponement, cancellation or refund will be made.
