Hello, I am Psychologist Dr. Gizem Turgut After completing my undergraduate education at Bilkent University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Psychology, in order to deepen in my field, I completed my first master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Maltepe University, my second master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Okan University, and my doctorate at Okan University LEE Applied Psychology Doctoral Program by taking courses focused on both industrial and organizational psychology and clinical psychology.I completed my academic education in Autism and Autistic Children Education Certificate Program, Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory Practitioner Certificate Program, Child - Adolescent Development and Intelligence Tests Education Certificate Program, Family Counseling Certificate Program, Cognitive Therapy Workshop Certificate Program, Play Therapy Practitioner Certificate Program, Schema Therapy Applications Certificate Program, Adult Testing Practitioner Training Certificate Program, Sexual Dysfunction Workshop, EMDR Level 1 Training, Rorschach, Child Training. I attended and supported trainings on Thematic Perception Test, Thematic Perception Test, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodrama and Group Therapy Practitioner Certificate Programs, Neuropsychological Test Training Certificate Program and Dynamic Oriented Psychotherapy Practitioner Certificate Program, WISC-4 Practitioner Certificate Program. I have taken care to meticulously reflect the academic knowledge I have acquired throughout my education life and the unique knowledge I have acquired in specific sub-areas of expertise through certificate programs in the professional work I carry out with my clients.During my professional career, I had the opportunity to guide many individuals through their psychological problems in the fields of individual therapy, family counseling and career counseling with adults and adolescents, using the methods of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy, Time-Limited Psychodynamic Therapy, and EMDR Therapy.
In the light of scientifically based approaches, I see it as my primary value to provide a safe, ethical and compassionate service, taking into account the unique needs of each individual.
In addition, Dr. at Istanbul Arel University FEF Psychology Department. Lecturer I work as a member and work as a member of DSÜ Dr. in the Psychology Departments of various universities. Lecturer As a member, I teach psychology courses at undergraduate and graduate levels and also provide thesis consultancy to students studying at graduate levels in psychology departments.
