Clinical Psychologist Ferhat Yaka completed his undergraduate education in Psychology and his master's degree in Maltepe University Clinical Psychology program with high honors. He did his internship at Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospital; He worked with patients with aphasia at Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine Neuropsychology Laboratory.

He took part in the validity and reliability studies of Beynex, Turkey's first Alzheimer's early diagnosis and treatment system. He also worked at the Research and Application Center for Children Living and Working on the Streets.

Later in his career, he worked as an Assessor and Trainer in a private human resources consultancy firm, and then worked as an HR Team Leader at Binyaprak. He conducted studies on attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), impulse control disorders and behavioral disorders at the Mental Psychiatry Center; He worked as a psychologist at Mini Renk Kindergartens.He is one of the founding and board members of the Institute Factory, a collective initiative that aims to provide free access to intellectual and professional knowledge in order to contribute to individuals making sense of their existence.

He is a founding member and vice president of the Maritime Psychology Association, which was established to conduct studies on the psychological well-being of seafarers in Turkey. He is the first psychologist in Turkey to specialize in maritime psychology. In this field, he is one of the founding partners of Marine Mental Management, a company that provides consultancy services to companies in the maritime sector on personnel selection, psychological evaluation and follow-up, and support of psychological well-being.

Following his neuropsychology, human resources and clinical experiences, he became one of the founding partners of the Mini Psychology Counseling Center. He works mainly with children and adolescents; It continues in the areas of cognitive skills, executive functions, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and impulse control disorders. He continues his psychotherapy work with adults within the framework of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
