WHAT IS HOME HEALTH SERVICE?
* Home Health Service provides services to bedridden patients in the home environment where they live with their families, rather than diagnosing the patient, by monitoring and implementing the treatments that have been diagnosed and whose treatment is arranged by the relevant clinics, and by providing training on this subject to the patient's relatives or caregivers.
* Our unit provides service only during weekday working hours and by appointment system.
* Patients residing within the borders of Mamak Municipality are registered and an appointment is made by phone the day before at the address where the patient resides, the patient goes to his home, his general examination is performed by the Home Health Services Unit Physician and it is decided whether he can benefit from Home Health Services.
* The Home Health Services Unit carries out the necessary examinations of the patients under follow-up, training and follow-up on the correct use of their constantly used medications, renewing the necessary medical supplies and committee reports, dressing if there are bedsores and training the people responsible for their care when necessary, and training the patient's relatives on exercise with the support of a Physiotherapist when necessary.
WHO CAN BENEFIT?
* Those who receive permanent inpatient treatment in the hospital due to their chronic illness and require follow-up examinations after discharge,
* Bedridden patients who cannot walk, are bedridden and cannot even meet their special needs (e.g. Alzheimer's, dementia, stroke, etc.)
* People with mental disabilities (Mental Retardation),
* Advanced stage cancer patients.
