Hello, I am Specialist Dr. Süleyman Mevlitoğlu.
I graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. Between 2008 and 2013, I completed my specialization training in Pediatrics at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. Following my specialization training, I worked as the Head Specialist in Neonatal Intensive Care at Antalya Anadolu Private Hospital from 2014 to 2021 and provided services in the pediatric outpatient clinic. Since 2021, I have been following the health processes of my child and infant patients in my own clinic in Antalya.
Areas of Expertise
In the field of pediatrics, I work on newborn and infant health, newborn and premature infant follow-up, well-child monitoring, growth and development monitoring, and age-appropriate health assessments for children. In addition to evaluating children's physical development, I provide information and follow-up services to families regarding nutritional processes and child nutrition.
I am involved in the evaluation of common childhood health problems such as childhood infections, respiratory tract infections, cough and wheezing, as well as respiratory system diseases such as asthma and allergic rhinitis.
In the field of allergy and immune system; I am involved in the evaluation and follow-up of allergic diseases seen in childhood, especially food allergies, cow's milk allergy, atopic dermatitis and allergic eczema. I also follow up on the evaluation of immune system-related health problems in children and referrals to relevant healthcare professionals when necessary.
Neonatal and Infant Health
A significant part of my professional work focuses on newborn and infant health. Following my role as a neonatal intensive care specialist from 2014 to 2021, I continue to work in the assessment of the health status of newborns and premature babies, monitoring their growth and development, and referring them to appropriate healthcare services when needed. The assessment and monitoring of common neonatal conditions such as neonatal jaundice are also among my areas of expertise.
Child Health and Development
I believe in the importance of regular health check-ups during childhood; I assess children's growth and development processes in a way that is appropriate for their age. I guide families on well-child check-ups, developmental assessments, child nutrition, and early detection of potential health problems in childhood.
Kidney and Urinary Tract Health in Children
Within the scope of kidney and urinary tract health in children, I also deal with the evaluation and follow-up of urinary tract infections and kidney and urinary system problems that may be encountered in childhood. When necessary, I support referral to relevant specialists for further evaluation.
Multidisciplinary Approach
When the child's health condition requires it, I support a holistic approach to evaluation, referral, and follow-up processes by working in coordination with relevant healthcare professionals.
